Anne Boccato

Anne Boccato is a freshman at Purchase College (SUNY), as a jazz piano performance major. She was born and raised in Brazil, and moved to the USA with her family in 2005. She has always been exposed to music, her father being a jazz drummer and percussionist, and started playing classical piano in a conservatory in São Paulo.
She began playing jazz soon after moving to West Hartford, CT, where she went to Hall High School for her junior and senior years. She played in one of the high school jazz bands for the past year, and participated in other musical ensembles at the school as well.
